GREAT
I was dubious about how well this would work, but curiosity got the best of me so I ordered this. Glad I did, too, because I love it! It's compact which makes it great for dropping in your makeup bag when traveling. The built in light surprisingly makes a huge difference - I never realized how much I was missing. I started with the coarse exfoliation attachment. It doesn't have a vacuum function like larger exfoliation gadgets, but it still does a good job of scraping off dead cells. Following that I attached one of the shaving blades and got rid of the peach fuzz. The light makes it so much easier to see - and therefore eradicate - every hair. My skin feels so smooth! The seller offers replacement blades for sale, so you won't have a useless tool once you've used up the blades that come with it. Additionally, it comes nicely boxed and I can't help thinking it would make a great gift. Yes, it's more expensive than the little plastic dermablades, but I am a Gadget Queen (as my husband says! LOL), and I like it enough to justify the cost.
Have you ever had a small child ask you why you have facial hair in weird places? I have. I've been using a manual dermaplaner for years and have found it hard to get all the fine hairs near my ears and lower chin.
Enter this amazingly effective dermaplaner! The one feature that makes this baby worth it is the light. I did part of my face with my regular cheap blade then figured I'd give this one a try to see if there was any difference. Yeeeeaaaah...I had missed so much! The light shows you every single tiny hair. It's incredible and slightly disgusting.
The blade is nice and gentle and when you turn it on it gets every tiny hair. Absolutely worth it. Comes with 4 spare blades, to last for quite some time.
This dermaplane tool kit is well-thought out and nicely put together. I love that the tips are lighted. This makes a huge difference compared to my other dermaplaning kit (which has a sharper scalpel edge and is scarier to use than this one - I have cut myself with that one). The blades on this tool seem slightly serrated and I think you’d have to work reasonably hard to cut yourself with this tool. That’s good for anyone, but especially for beginners.
The tool has two types of tips: the bladed ones and ones called diamond tips which are for exfoliating after you’ve used the blade.
The tool is packaged in a neat box with the various blades and chargers in their own boxes, stamped with gold foil icons. A satin ribbon lifts out the boxes. The presentation makes this suitable as a gift.
The best feature is the light at the tip. It’s fantastic. What a brilliant idea. When holding sharp tools next to your face, illumination is wonderful.
This tool is great for removing fuzz and leaves your skin smoother.
