I used to derma roller years ago, and have quite large patches of hyperpigmentation on my face (thanks peri-menopause)
I’ve used this twice and it’s reduced dramatically.
I use alcohol pads to clean my face after a double cleanse, then I use geek & gorgeous Hyaluronic Acid (HA) as ‘slip’ and go over my face in a small squares going up and down then over that using side to side motions. I do .75 on forehead, neck and chest increasing it to 1 for rest of face.
I the slather HA on for about an hour, the next day I use caster oil-and lots of SPF if I’m going out. After 48hrs I go back to my usual skincare and apply make-up once more.
It’s easy to use and does smart a little bit, I did find the charge went quickly but overall this is value for money.
I’ve done 3 sessions a week apart and the hyperpigmentation is reducing nicely, my pores are shrinking AND my jowls (again thanks peri-m) are reducing too. Going to carry on and do 10 sessions and see where I’m at. I use the 12 needles thingie and just throw it away after my 30-40mins session.
I do love that you can buy replacement needle heads which i absolutely will do.

This is a great derma pen. Easy to use and provides great results.
No need to spend the extra money on a name brand Dr Pen microneedling device. This one does the exact same thing and is a lot easier to read the depth numbers too which is extremely important. Not to mention the cartridges for this pen are also a ton cheaper than the name brand.
The instructions stink so do your due diligence and watch some reputable youtube videos or read about it. It only ships with 3 cartridges to use which are one time use cartridges, however, I have used the nano cartridge a few times (before tossing) by soaking in alcohol after each use. The nano cartridge does not have real needles in it and only can go extremely superficially into your skin. This device has sturdy metal construction, is wireless/rechargeable and a JOY to use. Use with some consistency and I guarantee you will SEE results!
Thought it would hurt when I first use this. I was wrong you just feel a little pinch and your face gets red or wherever you use it. I have a dark spot on my face I’m trying to get rid of and I hope this works. I will use it until I see better results. It’s rechargeable as well which is better than batteries. I will update if I see my dark spot getting better or lighter which I hope I do. I as well see a change in my face which is a plus
Update: the best micro needle machine I used. My face is soft and has a glow looks so much better. My dark spot looks lighter than before. I will keep using it until I see better results
